Domain Forge — Agent Guide

Source of truth for coding agents in this repo. Claude Code reads it via CLAUDE.md (@AGENTS.md).

Project

Marketing/services site for Domain Forge (domain & email security). Eleventy (Nunjucks) static site plus Cloudflare Pages Functions in workers/; built output in _site/. The offering is a single Scan → Fix → Keep funnel (ForgeScan, ForgeFix, ForgeKeep retainer) plus DomainWatch, ForgeMigrate, ForgeAcademy and the blog.

Commands

• Build: npm run build
• Dev (static only): npm run dev:static
• Dev (with functions): npm start
• Typecheck: npm run typecheck
• Test: npm run test:ci
• Full pre-push check: npm run ci:check
• Deploy: push to main — Cloudflare Pages builds and deploys automatically

Conventions

• Commit messages: imperative mood, one-line summary.
• Run npm run ci:check before finishing any task.

Lessons & gotchas

Living list, curated not appended: when a task here surfaces a mistake or a hard-won lesson, distill it into a rule below in the same commit as the fix. Delete entries that stop being true. Never let this become a changelog.

Cross-repo note

Strategic planning for this project lives in the joshatdf/AI-Assistant hub repo (state/projects.md, agent-refreshed from this repo's git history). This repo intentionally has no state/ directory — git history is its record. Nothing here needs manual syncing to the hub.
